Traditional Building Methods.
The Skeetchestn Dodeca-Home Building System is developed based on the Traditional building concepts utilized by the Secwepemc First Nations who reside in Skeetchestn and the Southern Interior of British Columbia. This modern, modified version is a unique 12-sided post and beam building structure that is engineered in two basic 520 and 1020 square foot modules; that are affordable, robust, durable, energy efficient, quick and ready to assemble for climate conscious homeowners.

ENERGY EFFICIENT.
Our Dodeca-Homes systems are built in Canada, cutting emissions and cost to have our product transported to your site. Our Basic Modules are constructed of locally sourced Douglas-fir Posts and beams along with highly efficient Structural Insulated Panels (SIP’s) . Our Roundhouse buildings are more energy efficient than conventional rectangular buildings because of their SIP’s, which provide a virtually airtight building envelope with minimal thermal breaks around it’s timber frame, and the fact they have 25% less wall area to floor area.
